Get Shadow Seer from your favourite retailer! I can see ghosts. I've always been able to do it, but never known why. The people that raised me claimed they had no idea either. It isn't until I'm taken to Scythe Grove Academy that I learn the truth. I'm a reaper. More specifically, I'm a seer, someone who can see and talk to the dead to help them to move on. Maybe I can finally learn the reason for the ghost who has been following me for years, and with the help of my new friends, I can finally make sense of who I am. - Shadow Seer is book one of the paranormal academy series, Scythe Grove Academy. Syxe was so much fun to write, especially as she had no idea she was a reaper (even if she could see ghosts!) I loved getting to explore Scythe Grove Academy alongside her and getting to know Mathias, Juliet, and Tobias. The series is complete and you can read on for an excerpt! ~~~ Copyright 2021 Laura Greenwood ~~~ "Syxe Weston?" a guy asks as he walks towards me. Ah. It seems the headmistress has sent someone to find me. I appreciate that, it saves me a task. "Yes?" "I'm Mathias, Headmistress Shaw has asked me to meet you and bring you to her office." "Hi." I resist the urge to wave at him. "Hey," he responds, a genuine smile spreading over his face. He's handsome. Probably my age, though perhaps a year older. "Are you a student here?" I ask as the two of us start walking. "Yes. I started at the beginning of the year." "Do you like it here?" I'm not sure what the point in asking is. It's ...

Not all ghosts can have good unfinished business, right?  Read on for a teaser from book 3 of the complete Scythe Grove Academy series (no spoilers, unless the fact the girl with a scythe on the covers being a reaper isn't obvious!) *** Copyright 2021 Laura Greenwood *** “The ghost would like to introduce himself to you,” I say to Mathias. “I’m a translator.” I keep my voice as flat as possible. While Mathias isn’t able to understand me or the ghost when we talk to one another, the ghost is perfectly capable of understanding us when we talked in English. Thankfully, Mathias seems to understand the predicament. “Hello, I’m Mathias. What’s your name?” he asks the ghost, barely looking at me. I don’t bother translating. I only need to let Mathias know what the ghost says. “Cain.” “He says his name is Cain,” I translate. “It’s nice to meet you, Cain,” Mathias says. “We’re here to help you move on to the other world, starting with any unfinished business you might have here. Do you know...
