Welcome to Scythe Grove Academy
When Syxe discovers she has the ability to talk to ghosts, she soon finds herself whisked off to Scythe Grove Academy, the foremost academy for trainee reapers. Once there, she'll learn how to make her own scythe, how to help ghosts over to the other side, and she'll be sorted into one of the four Groves (Houses): Sakura, Ilex, Banksia, or Hawthorn.

The Groves are based on my own experiences in High School here in the UK, where our Houses were an important part of school culture. The friendly rivalry that stretched between everything from drama to sports created so much fun and I wanted to incorporate that into one of my books.
