This is just a monthly post with updates on various series so that everyone is kept up to date! If a series you're interested in doesn't appear on the list, then it's probably just that it's already complete, but please feel free to ask if you want me to clarify anything!
I just wanted to add a quick note that there is a high likelihood that dates are going to end up moving and changing over the next few weeks. I won't go into too much detail, but there is a post in the featured section of The Paranormal Council Facebook Group about what's going on. Both Arizona and I are working as hard as we can to bring you great books, but we do have some family things that need our attention at the moment.
ON-GOING SERIES:
- Cauldron Coffee Shop: Peppermint Tea and Nothing Is Free (book 3) released last month, and Cinnamon Cocoa and Far To Go (book 4) is releasing this month (I'm working hard to make sure I don't keep anyone waiting too long on the end of the series after extending it!) Books 5 & 6, Mulled Cider And No One Is Wiser & Vanilla Frappe And Reasons To Stay, will be available soon! Please note: there have been unavoidable date changes on books 4 & 5.
- The Shifter Season: The Stag and the Baroness (book 3) released a couple of days ago, and The Swan and the Rake (book 4) is planned to release next month. After that, the rest of the series will come next year, with The Otter and the Officer (book 5) and The Falcon and the Bluestocking (book 6) coming next. I'm working on Denise's bonus story in the background too! I also just booked in for a cover for book 9 in the series, so it will be at least 9 books total, potentially more. This will partly depend on popularity, and partly on my muse (who can be temperamental at times!) I love writing the series, so I hope it continues long into the future!
- The Apprentice of Anubis: Creator of the Curse (book 6) releases this month, and Festival of the Blessed (book 8) will be going up for pre-order shortly. There will be at least four more books after book 8, I wouldn't like to say exactly how many though, Ani and Nik have a tendency towards being very chatty!
- Forgotten Gods: Serpent Of The Crown (book 7) releases this week, and Seeker Of The Relics (book 8 ) is coming soon. Defender Of Spirits (book 9) will be up for pre-order shortly.
- Obscure Academy: Shifting Forms For Clumsy Felines (book 1) released last month with Drinking Blood For Squeamish Vampires (book 2) releasing in November. There are also going to be side stories releasing regularly for holidays - including Bonfire Night For Flammable Dragons in the Dragons and Drakes anthology last month, and Pumpkin Carving For Superstitious Witches in Spells and Shadows this month. There aren't a set number of books in the series as they are all standalones.
- Grimm Academy has now been listed as one series everywhere (to make it easier for everyone!) so is now an on-going series. The first book of the fourth sub-series releases next month with two more planned in the sub-series. I do have ideas for books beyond that, but it will depend on a few things.
UP-COMING SERIES:
- Broomstick Bakery: The Cupcake Witch (book 1) continues as my newsletter serial this month!
CO-WRITES & SHARED WORLDS
- Amethyst's Wand Shop Mysteries: Rhymes and Crimes (book 7) releases this month. The series will continue on past Spells and Bells (book 8) and we're not sure how many books there will end up being - as the crimes all stand on their own, there is a lot to work with!
- Purple Oasis: Shifter's Truth (book 5) released last month, and Nymph's Storm (book 6) will release this month. We don't have a set number of books for the series anymore because there's just too many characters and too much world building to explore. I can confirm that Shifter's Escape (book 7) will be coming in early 2023, and will be followed by at least three more books - Witch's Warning (book 8 ), Siren's Ruse (book 9) and Nymph's Gift (book 10). We do have lots of further ideas for the series and how life at Purple Oasis will evolve. If you read Shifter's Truth, then you'll have met main characters from three of the upcoming books! Eva is the main character in Nymph's Storm, Max and Hugo are the heros in Witch's Warning, and Colette is the main character in Siren's Ruse.
- Speed Dating with the Denizens of the Underworld: The shared world continues this month, and I will have more books than just Bastet in the world - I now have a cover for my second book featuring an Egyptian god, and I hope to reveal it soon!
- Tales Of Clan Robbins: the series is still coming, but we're working on it in the background and will have more news soon!
OTHER SERIES:
- The Black Fan: I'm currently working on some changes for the series. I'll keep everyone posted once I'm done! I hope the changes will make it better.
- Carnival Of Blades: there's no change in this one, but I will update everyone once there is!
- Rosewood Academy: is now unpublished while I work on changes to the story. I will be re-releasing next year.
- Stonerest Academy & Harker Academy have both been delayed and cancellation emails for the pre-orders will have gone out already. I'm sorry for any disappointment this might cause anyone, it was a hard decision to make, but one that I had to in order to make sure all of the stories I want to tell are done properly and to the best of my ability. I will post when I have more information or dates on either of them.
