I've been doing a lot of thinking about the best way to manage my schedule going forward. You may have seen that I have some things going on in my personal life that have made things a little harder recently. Rather than putting myself in a position where I have to scramble to catch up, I've made some hard decisions about a couple of series (and have a general update about Cauldron Coffee Shop).
So, starting with the easy bit...
Cauldron Coffee Shop
There has been a delay on books four and five. Book four will be coming at the end of this month, and book five should be coming next month. You'll also be able to find book 6 up for pre-order by the end of tomorrow. I think the series will end at book 6, but there is a chance that it won't, especially as Willow and Azíl have managed to take me a little off-guard a few times already! If you haven't started the series yet, then there'll be a sale on book one next week when you can!
Now onto the harder bit...
Stonerest Academy & Harker Academy
Due to the status of the series in my writing plans and orders, I've made the hard decision to cancel the current pre-orders for these two series. I still plan to write them, but due to Amazon's rescheduling policies, it doesn't give me enough/any extra time to delay them for just a month. I also want to give the series some time to breath and grow so I can be sure about how many books there'll be in the series and I can plan accordingly.
When I picked the dates for this series, I thought I'd be done with four of my currently open series (The Apprentice Of Anubis, Cauldron Coffee Shop, Purple Oasis, and Amethyst's Wand Shop Mysteries), and Obscure Academy has also already ended up with more books in my mind than I had planned, which has caused some unforeseen scheduling issues if I want to give all of my series and books the attention I deserve.
As such, these series are being delayed. I'm not sure until when, but I will make the announcement when the time comes.
Frankie, the main character of Stonerest Academy, will still make an appearance briefly in the Obscure Academy series - she's Essie's twin sister, and has an important role to play in Trading Names For Polite Sprites.
I want to bring everyone the best books I possibly can, and for that, I need to create a little more breathing room for myself. I'm sorry for any disappointment caused by this decision and thank you for your understanding and patience with me.
